Playtime never goes out of style.

Sure you may grow up, but growing out of playtime is never a good idea.

Ask yourself...

"When was the last time I played with my lover like I used to play with my friends when I was a kid?

Playing with your lover, like the two of you are kids again is a great way to keep the love flowing between the two of you.

It keeps the adventure alive - and the fun and innocence in your life.

So this week tap into your childlike energy and playfulness

Go bowling.
Set up a rollerskating date.
Or head to the amusement park.

Not only will you two have a fun time... it's great foreplay!

Metro Event Planners Party Planning Tip #6:

Timing is everything.

The happiest event planners are those that start planning early.

When time is on your side you have the freedom to explore all the possibilities for your evening.
You also have the pleasure of spending less money for your party.
In fact, rushed last minute parties ALWAYS end up spending more for their events than well-
thought out, early planned events.

Start early and think about the following:

Would your group like a Limo for the evening?
Would you like a nice dinner at a fun, Bachelorette friendly location?
How about a Comedy Club or Club Hopping? Drinks? Strppers? Strp Tease Class? BJ Classes?
You get the idea.

Remember the party favors too!
(all parties booked with us receive 10% off party favors)

There are tons of options and the sooner you start planning the more enjoyable the experience
will be.

Another thing to consider is hot spots and other services get booked up early.
We certainly do.

Party Planning Time Line:
1) Create an invite list for your party
2) Contact a few guests on your list and decide on a party date
(ONLY contact a FEW guests on the list. It's wise to decide with your most important guests on the date and then simply notify the others of when the party will be. Including too many guests on the deciding of the party date will cause headaches)
3) Reserve your party date with Metro Event Planners or each activity location to confirm your party date
4) Collect money from each guest

Early planners always have a more enjoyable experience.

Let the fun begin!

Metro Event Planners Party Planning Tip # 5:

Decide who's in charge.

Is it you or someone else? Are a bunch of you planning your FUN NIGHT OUT?

It's best to choose one person (two at most) to be in charge and make ALL the decisions.
This way things will run smoothly and be easy.

Parties get ruined by too many people being involved with planning.
Some groups disagree. Some groups get in fights. Some parties even end up being cancelled.

A poorly planned party is rushed and chaotic.
That's not fun.

To ensure a fun smooth running night. Elect 1 party girl/guy to be in charge.

S/he'll call the shots and then SURPRISE everyone with the fun plans.
When this is done, get ready to hear words of praise!

Metro Event Planners Party Planning Tip #4 :

The Fun of Planning.

Many people look at planning an event as a time consuming task.
It's looked at as a chore that has to be done in order to have fun later on.

Planning doesn't have to be this way. It can actually be really fun!

How? You ask.

First off, let those fun feelings run wild once you make the decision to throw a celebration.
Think about what you'd like to do, who you will be doing them with, and envision everyone with a big smile on their faces.

Then, start putting together the pieces to the puzzle. That's right!
Look at planning the event as a big puzzle and the elements of the event as puzzle pieces.

Make a list of all your ideas and start investigating.
Get prices. Do research. Ask around. Then plan your heart out!

When the steps of planning an event is looked at as part of the fun, rather than a chore that needs to be done -
planning becomes an exciting adventure!

Let the party begin!

Bachelorette Party Tip #3

Who pays for all of this?

Although bridal showers are typically paid for by the maid/matron of honor or the mother of the bride, the Bachelorette party is typically paid for by each individual guest.

To keep things organized nominate 1 girl (usually the maid/matron of honor) to be in charge of collecting all the money for the evening from each girl.

Who pays for the Bride to Be's expenses during her 'last night of freedom'?

This is a little trickier and each Bachelorette party I've seen handles this differently.

#1: All the girls chip in for the Bride's activities/expenses for the evening. They either split each bill evenly as the night goes on or in the beginning of the night they all give in $50-$100 to cover the bride's expenses (To me, the latter way of "treating" the bride is the classier way to go about it). Then, whatever money is left over at the end of the evening is divided by the organizer and given back to each girl.

#2: A big sister or best friend will pay for the bride's activities for the evening.

#3: Only the bridal party will pay for the bride. The girls who aren't as close with the bride are just responsible for their expensese for the evening. When it's done this way, usually more girls will join in for the Bachelorette party festivities.

#4: Then there are those parties where the bride pays for her own activities.

#5: And of course, those parties where the parent's pay for their daughter's expenses...or better yet, those parties where the parent's of the bride pay for the WHOLE EVENT! (the girls who attend those Bachelorette parties are the happiest!)

Bachelorette Party Tip #2

Nominate a 'Head Planner'

That's right. This is someone who calls the shots.
Someone who makes all the decisions.

Usually this is the Maid of Honor, or the Matron of Honor, or in some special cases - the Bride herself!

Too many Bachelorette Parties get everyone involved in the planning of the evening and when that happens, nothing gets settled.

Too many people making decisions equals a night of chaos.
Too many people giving advice equals nothing ending up being planned.

A happy bachelorette party is a party that has one person who decides what the game plan is...and then alerts the troops as to the fun night that abounds.

Keep it simple. Keep one person in charge of the decisions.
You will all have a happier evening!

Bachelorette Party Tip #1

Plan the Bachelorette Party out in STEPS

Many bridesmaids and friends try to plan out everything at once. Good intentions, yes. Effortless planning, no.

Perfect planning takes place in steps. You have to find out what activity the Bride wants to do first, then you find out who she wants to invite to her party, then you decide what party date works best for her.

Those would all be part of your Step #1.
That's it. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Figuring out what restaurant you want to go to, what club you want to party at, what time the limo should pick you up, if you'll have a stripper or not - all those things come later.

No need to get definite answers from all the girls if they'll be attending or not. Not now. Don't waste your time.

All those other things are details that we will take care of once the initial planning has been discussed. Right now, we're getting an idea of the general game plan for the evening not the definite details.

When things are planned out in an organized simple way, things flow effortlessly.

5 Tips to Make Your Bachelorette Party Memorable

by Metro Event Planners, The Bachelorette Experts
www.bacheloretteexperts.com

Over the past few years the Bride's bachelorette party has become a major element in the wedding experience. This is a night of great expectation and one where there is a lot of fun and excitement to be had. What many maids of honor don't realize is how much planning goes into a night like this and how to prepare. Below are 5 tips to help plan an incredible night, not only for the bachelorette but for her whole bridal party!

1. Start planning at least one month in advance
Don’t wait until last minute to plan this memorable night. If you do, you’ll end up spending more money, having disorganized plans, a group who is upset with one another, and a night that isn’t fun. A party is not fun when limousines don’t show, when the clubs visited have attitudes, expensive dinners and uncertain plans. It takes at least one month to plan a great stress-free Bachelorette Party. It’s better to plan early, relax, and look forward to a great night.

2. Appoint a leader!
Although many women in the Bachelorette party may not know one another, it is crucial that someone is appointed to take the lead. The leader should gather the group, talk about what everyone would like to do, decide on how much everyone wants to spend– and start planning! This is not an easy job, but for this important night - it’s worth it! All too often women wait until last minute to plan, and end up putting together sloppy plans that don’t run smoothly.

3. Have more than one activity for the evening.
Whether your plan is to go to dinner, dance the night away, attend a male revue or Broadway show have a plan of what to do afterwards. These activities last 2-3 hours, and it takes more than a few hours of activity to create a memorable evening. Play it safe, be prepared to have the most fun and have more than one activity on the agenda.

4. Know where to go & what it’ll be like once you get there.
I’ve heard plenty of stories about a group going to a club or restaurant based on a recommendation which ended up being disaster. This place may have been a “hot spot” several months ago, but when this new group went there the scene was no longer happening. This can be a real upset, and no one wants to figure out a new place to go last minute. Popular places change from month to month and the only way of knowing if it’s still good is to do your research.

5. Reputation, reputation, reputation!
If you are getting a limo for the evening, hiring a male stripper, going to a restaurant, spa, or club ask around before you book and see if the place or company is reliable. Strippers don’t always show up, limousines may be promised as “top of the line” but when they arrive were definitely not, restaurants' and clubs' staff may rude or make your group wait. Remember, your goal is to have a memorable evening that runs as smooth as possible.

Follow the tips above and make your Bachelorette Party the best it can be!
Good luck and remember to enjoy!

Book your party now! Busy season is here - and dates are limited!
